It is the perfect comic if you want something relaxing, fun, and easy to read. The lovable Maggie and Hopey are central protagonists for the Locas story arc, but more problematic characters like Israel, Fritz, and Pipo in the Palomar branch feel equally vital and important observations on what the queer community actually is, which is not always perfect.
