J P van der Walt has come a long way in his golf journey. In when I graduated, I really wanted to follow this dream of playing professional golf, so tried it out for five years and had an amazing time doing it, traveling the world, living out of a suitcase in the summers.
And you know, every school is a little different, and so they rely a little bit on my coaching background to give them an idea of what certain coaches are looking for. I grew up in a pretty fortunate situation where my dad and my mom built a an amazing house with tennis courts, and we had two bentgrass greens where I could hit balls, and all kinds of stuff — I think it was two and a half hectares, so it was a pretty big spot.
